Refugee Week is the world’s largest arts & culture festival celebrating the contributions, creativity and resilience of refugees and people seeking sanctuary. Founded in 1998 in the UK and held every year around World Refugee Day on the 20 June.

Refugee Week enables people from different backgrounds to connect beyond labels, as well as encouraging understanding of why people are displaced, and the challenges they face when seeking safety. Refugee Week Malta has been active since 2022, and we work in a collaborative manner with various artists, ngos, civil society groups, organisations and philanthropists towards bringing more informed and welcoming attitudes towards refugees and asylum seekers.

Refugee Week 2024 will be on 17th-23rd June 2024.
